Robot Haunted House with Code Joy Edu

October 27 @ 4:30 pm - 5:00 pm PDT

Make a Robot Haunted House with Code Joy!

Elby is nervous about riding through the Haunted House at the Little Bot Amusement Park. Perhaps he’d feel a bit more at ease if we turned up the Haunted House lights and took a closer look at the mechanisms that control the attraction. With your help, CodeJoy will reprogram the ghosts and goblins, then take a ride through the Haunted House as a class. Is it really so scary?

CodeJoy participants will learn the basics of coding, explore simple mechanisms, and take a closer look at how servos work.

Materials:
  • A computer or Chromebook is required for you to interact with our in-studio robots.
INSTRUCTORS: This session will be facilitated by Kelsey Derringer and Matt Chilbert of CodeJoy.

Register to join the Zoom class here (space is limited) to participate fully, or watch and comment LIVE on the Family Maker Camp Facebook page or on the Make:Kids Youtube channel.
Class is limited to 10 participants, so book your seat now! Robot Haunted House is ideal for students between 9 and 15 years old.

About Code Joy Education:
