Learn to Breadboard with DigiKey

August 11 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am PDT

Learn the basics of breadboarding with DigiKey

A breadboard is a solderless platform that allows for electrical connections to be made internally. Breadboarding is an integral part of creating any electronics project. The purpose is to set up an entire circuit using through-hole parts to ensure that functionality is as expected, prior to having a printed circuit board produced. This step saves time, money, and resources.

During this session, we will use a few simple components to build a circuit that creates different pitches based on how much light is received by a photoresistor. Check out the project guide here.

Get ready for the session and order your Breadboard kit. Then, join us live to learn about breadboarding and build.

For more inspiration and step-by-step guides for building a variety of cool electronics projects, get the How to use a Breadboard guide from MakerShed (PDF & print available, in English & Spanish).

Watch and make LIVE on the Family Maker Camp FaceBook page or on the Make: Kids Youtube channel.
