Seed Ball Making with Shawna Begay
May 29, 2020 @ 11:00 am - 11:30 am PDT
Join Shawna Begay from Navajo Technical University in Crownpoint, New Mexico to make seed balls!
Shawna says: “On the Navajo Nation we have a huge problem with overgrazing. We’re teaching kids how to replant native vegetation in a fun and easy way. People think replanting is hard work — we’re making it easy. I tell kids to just throw these seed balls out the window!”
