Build BOTS with Kathy Ceceri

Got kids ages 7-13 who are ready for real robotics? Build BOTS with Kathy Ceceri is based on the book, Bots! Robotics Engineering with Makerspace Activities for Kids. It’s a complete robotics course you can do at home and no expensive kits needed!

In this 5-week live course, Kathy will introduce you to a different robotics system each week and guide you through a short hands-on project. Then for “homework,” you have the option to work on more advanced projects (instructions in the book) and share your creations with the class the following week!

• FIVE 1 hour sessions. October 28th through November 25th
• Weekly, Wednesdays 12-1pm PT / 3-4pm ET
• Online Sessions will be on the Zoom Platform
• Program best suited for kids ages 7-13.

To do all the projects in this course, all you need  are some household supplies (such as index cards, pencils, and scissors), and some low-tech electronics. To do the more advanced “homework” projects, you will also need a copy of the book BOTS! by Kathy Ceceri, a programmable microcontroller, and a few additional household items (see the Materials list below).
